Whether you will be studying alone or in a group, here is what you first need to do to become familiar with this interior design certification exam. The tips I will be publishing will get you started and help you organize so you can\u00a0 study effectively for the IDEX exam.<\/p>\n

Tip #1.\u00a0 Get the free IDEX “Study Guide”<\/a> prepared by CCIDC.<\/strong><\/p>\n

IDEX Exam Study Guide published by the California Council for Interior Design Certification (CCIDC)<\/p><\/div>\n

This is a free, 32-page download prepared by CCIDC which provides background information on the IDEX\u00ae<\/sup> exam schedule, rules, release of results and exam format\/content, sample questions and an FAQ.<\/em><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

It is not an actual “study guide” where you can learn about California Codes, Business Practices and Design Standards. To learn about these,\u00a0 you’ll have to read the reference books (see #2 below) or\u00a0 take a third-party class, such as our IDEX Prep Online Class<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tip #1: Download and print this guide. Read it. Then put it into a 3-ring binder or file folder for future reference.<\/em><\/p>\n
