The Certification of interior designers in California is a great program which was sanctioned into law in 1991 to help consumers find qualified interior designers who have education, passed an exam and are experienced.
CCIDC is the nonprofit organization in charge of certifying interior designers under California Business and Professions Code 5800, and they are about to go through their Sunset Review Hearing.
The Sunset Review hearing is on March 18, 2013 to renew CID statute and request clarifying and strengthening language for the CID law.
