After you have reviewed the free IDEX “Study Guide” prepared by CCIDC, we suggest that you look at the IDEX reference book and material list.
This list shows you every reference book, materials and California building codes that the actual IDEX exam is based on. The exam development task force, along with Castle Worldwide psychometricians, wrote the exam questions based on the content of these materials.
Tip #2: Download and print this reference list. Read it. You may want to buy some of these books for your library or ask your designer friends if they have copies you can borrow. Put the list into a 3-ring binder or file folder for future reference.
